Albanian delegation at SMA

From 25 to 29 June 2012 took place the visit of representatives of Albanian mining supervision authorities in the State Mining Authority. The Director of Mines Inspection Refik Spahiu was the head of the delegation. The guests wanted to learn from Polish experiences in mining supervision, as they are currently working on mining law in their country.
SMA’s professionals explained to guests the tasks, organization and competences of mining supervision authorities as well as legal issues of supervision and control of mining plants in Poland. Moreover, Albanian guests got also insight into Polish mining inspection rules, accident prevention, investigation of accidents, mining qualifications, EU law on mining, mining supervision and environmental protection in mining.
Furthermore, the delegates from Albania had also the opportunity to visit the “Pniówek" coal mine, SMA’s Archive of Mine Survey and Geological Documentation and the Central Mines Rescue Station.
