Civil Service Day at mining offices

17 February is Civil Service Day. It is the day that marks the anniversary of the first State Civil Service Act of 1922, passed by the Second Polish Republic's Parliament. The members of the civil service corps who celebrate this holiday are employed in state government, including mining offices.

For over a century, mining offices have overseen compliance with occupational safety and health in underground, opencast and borehole mines nationwide.
