Conference entitled "Modern Solutions in Occupational Health and Safety"

The first edition of the scientific and technical conference entitled "Modern Solutions in Occupational Safety and Health" was held on Tuesday, May 28. The event was organized by the Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology. During one of the scientific sessions, the Deputy Director of the District Mining Office in Wroclaw delivered an address entitled Professional adaptation of young employees in occupational health and safety management, prepared in cooperation with the director of the District Mining Office in Wrocław.

 The event was a response to our technologically advancing world and growing awareness of occupational safety. The organizers’ premise was to create a platform for the exchange of experiences between science and business.

The conference topics covered the following issues:

• modern solutions addressing occupational safety,
• modern technologies for improving occupational safety,
• innovative tools to improve work ergonomics,
• robotization and automation of work processes,
• technological progress - an opportunity or threat to humans in the work environment,
• the future and challenges in the field of occupational health and safety.
