Cooperation of Polish & Czech Mining Authorities

On 30^th–31^st October SMA's delegation led by the President of the State Mining Authority Mr Adam Mirek participated in a two-day meeting with the SMA's Czech counterpart – the Czech Mining Office. The SMA's delegation was greeted by the President of the Czech Mining Office Mr Martin Štemberka.

During the meeting both sides shared their experiences on issues of legal provisions concerning safety & health in underground mining plants. Meeting's participants agreed upon the conclusion that sharing experiences and knowledge is beneficial both to the Polish and Czech Mining Authority and should continue.
