EXPO Katowice International Fair

On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the EXPO Katowice fair, previously known as the International Fair of Mining, Energy and Metallurgy Katowice, took place. The 40th jubilee edition of this event was attended by Piotr Litwa - President of the State Mining Authority.

The capital of Silesia has again become the world exhibition centre of heavy industry. A wide range of devices for the mining and energy industries was presented at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. An integral part of the event was business meetings and industry exchange of experiences. There were debates devoted not only to the economy and industry but also to international cooperation and the expansion of Polish companies to foreign markets. As part of the new "Industry Meetings" project, a three-day conference, „Industry 5.0 - Transformation challenges of the industrial sector", was held on September 4. The conference topics were key challenges and visions for the industry in Poland and worldwide.

This year's EXPO Katowice fair was accompanied by the EcoDom International Fair, where machines, devices and technologies using solar, wind, water, biomass and geothermal energy were presented.
