Halina Krahelska Award for Adam Mirek, President of the State Mining Authority

President of the State Mining Authority  Adam Mirek, PhD, Eng, was awarded the Halina Krahelska Award by Chief Labour Inspector Wiesław Łyszczek. The award ceremony took place in the Royal Castle in Warsaw on 27 November 2018. The event was attended by representatives of the president, parliament, government, authorities supervising and controlling working conditions, scientific circles, labour protection associations, trade unions and employer organisations.

The Halina Krahelska Award has been granted since 1989 for special achievements in the field of supervision of and control over the observance of labour law, prevention of occupational hazards and popularisation of issues related to occupational safety and labour law.
