Jubilee of the 775th anniversary of the Bochnia Salt Mine

On September 28, the Bochnia Salt Mine in Bochnia held a gala to mark the plant's 775th anniversary.

The celebration was attended, among others, by the Vice President of the State Mining Authority, Krzysztof Król PhD, as well as the management and staff of the Regional Mining Authority in Krakow and Katowice. State and local government delegations were also present.

Among other things, the guests were presented with a historical outline of the Bochnia Salt Mine and the planned work for the further operation of the plant.

The event included the grand opening and consecration of a new tourist route in the Koldras Chamber, named the "Salt Witness - a multisensory tourist route,” completed as part of project titled "Introducing a unique cultural and educational offer on the accessible tourist route in the Bochnia Salt Mine."
