Opening of an exhibition concerning the importance of mining in Saxony and Lower Silesia
19 October 2018On 18 October 2018 an exhibition concerning the historical and current importance of mining in Saxony and Lower Silesia was opened in a charming area of the former opencast brown coal mine in Nochten, Fidlingspark. It is part of the MineLife Project, implemented under the INTERREG Poland-Saxony Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. The implementation of the third task, which is to present a thematic exhibition on mining in two regions, will continue until the end of the project in both countries. As part of the undertaking, the exhibition will visit places connected with former and current mining.
