SMA representative again chairman of the European Commission Permanent Working Group
16 May 2019On Tuesday, May 14, a meeting of the Permanent Working Group on Mining and Other Mining Industries within the framework of the Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work of the European Commission was held in Luxembourg. Roman Sąsiadek - the chief specialist in the Department of Energy and Mechanics of the State Mining Authority participated in it as a representative of the government.
Pursuant to the Council Decision of 12 March 2019 appointing members and alternate members of the Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work, Roman Sąsiadek has once again assumed the position of alternate member of the Advisory Committee of the European Commission. He was previously entrusted with this function for a three-year term in 2013 and 2016.
In addition, the SMA representative was elected chairman of the Permanent Working Group on Mining and Other Mining Industries of the Advisory Committee on Safety and Health at Work of the European Commission. This is the only Permanent Working Group set up by the Advisory Committee. This function will be performed by Roman Sąsiadek once again. Previously, it was in 2013-2016.
