SMA’s 90 years celebration

The celebrations to commemorate the 90th anniversary of mining supervision in Poland took place on 22 June 2012 in the Museum of Coal Mining in Zabrze under the auspices of the President of Poland, Mr Bronisław Komorowski. Representatives of the government administration, local mining communities, institutions which cooperate with mining authorities, mining associations and biggest mining entrepreneurs took part in the event.
During the historical session the major events in the mining supervision history were highlighted.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary, a short film on mining supervision in Poland was made. It reflects hard work and challenges faced by SMA’s specialists in their everyday activities.
