State Mining Authority‘s special team for tunnelling and tourist routes

On 14 February 2025, the State Mining Authority held the first meeting of a team responsible for improving supervision over tunnelling constructions and tourist underground routes.

The team will analyse the application of Article 2 of the Geological and Mining Law and develop proposals for new legal solutions for tunnelling and tourist routes. In cooperation with entrepreneurs, investors, contractors and scientific institutions, the team will propose directions for mining supervision and propagate good practices for such operations. The need to coordinate this matter stems from increasing road and rail tunnelling projects in Poland.
