Study visit to Caminau
14 June 2019On 12 and 13 June 2019, a study visit on the premises of the Porcelain Clay Plant in Caminau (Germany) was held as part of the Interreg MineLife project. Representatives of the State Mining Authority, District Mining Office in Wroclaw, Saxon Mining Office in Freiberg, Marshal's Office in Wroclaw, the scientific community of the Wroclaw University of Technology and entrepreneurs got familiarised with the history and geological and mining characteristics of the Porcelain Clay Plant. The participants in the visit had the opportunity to visit the extraction point of the Caminau open-pit mine and reclaimed areas.
