The 20th anniversary of the “Safe Practices and Environment” programme and the 16th Engineering Forum organised as part of the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE Fair

On 30 May 2023, President of the State Mining Authority Adam Mirek, PhD, Eng, and director of the Mining Department of the State Mining Authority, Zbigniew Rawicki, PhD, Eng, participated in the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the “Safe Practices and Environment” programme, organised during the 16th Engineering Forum - 9th Mechanics Day.

These events take place in Poznań as part of the ITM Industry Europe - Industry of the Digital Era Fair under the slogan “Innovative offer of young people”. It is an exhibition event of great importance, presenting global trends in the industry.

The Mechanics Day celebrations are dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge in the field of mechanical sciences and their implementation in the economy. As part of the event, a discussion panel entitled “Security in practice and for the economy” was held.

During the event, the President of FSNT NOT, Ewa Mańkiewicz-Cudny, presented the President of the State Mining Authority, Adam Mirek, with Złota Odznaka Honorowa NOT [the Golden Honorary Badge of NOT] for the State Mining Authority.

The event itself was organised by: Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations Chief Technical Organisation (FSNT-NOT) and the Polish Society of Mechanical Engineers and Technicians - SIMP.
