Visit of Turkish delegation

In the framework of a study visit of workplaces of mining sector a three-person delegation from Turkish Ministry of Labour and Social Security paid a visit to the State Mining Authority on 15 and 16 January 2007. The main objectives of this meeting organised by TAIEX and SMA were determination and evaluation of risks which could occur at workplaces of mining sector in Turkey, measures to be taken on this subject and to benefit from experiences of Poland on implementation of Council Directives 92/91/EEC and 92/104/EEC. Furthermore, SMA's guests visited the laboratories of the Experimental Mine "Barbara" in Mikołów.
